Blogs are used to display short or unorganized content that does not necessarily need to be a permanent fixture on your website. They are automatically displayed chronologically, the most recent blog entry being displayed first. To change the order of your blogs, you can simply change the date when you are adding or editing them.


Blog Categories

You can also organize them by Category, which will make it so you can display only certain blogs on a page that is automatically generated for you. All you need to do is create one or more Categories, and assign them to your blog posts when you are adding or editing them.

In order to create different categories for your blog, you must open the Configuration tab, then go into the Categories section. Find the Blog Categories line item, click the “Action” button, and then select "Add Term". Enter a term that is relevant to your blog grouping(s), and this will allow you to keep your blog postings organized and navigable by category.


Create a Blog

To add a new blog posting, follow the directions below:

  1. Open up the Content tab from the administrative menu.
  2. Click on the Blogs link.
  3. Click the “Add Blog” button.
  4. Enter a blog Title.
  5. If you've created a Category, select it from the designated dropdown.
  6. Enter your Body content.
  7. Choose your Publish settings, then click the “Add” button.

 

This will return you to your list of blogs. You can click the blog's title in the list to view it on your site.
