Pages

Pages are the building blocks of any website. They normally will contain information of a more permanent nature that is easily accessible through the main menu of your site.

Adding a Page is simple and can be done in a matter of minutes. Our "WYSIWYG" (What You See Is What You Get) editor allows you to easily enter your text, upload photos, embed media (YouTube videos, SoundCloud audio, etc.), and link to internal and external web pages.

Creating a Page

To create a new Page, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Content section from the main administrative menu.
  2. Click the Pages link at the top of the page.
  3. Click the "Add Page" button at the top right of the page.
  4. Insert a Title for the page. This will be displayed as the header on your new Page.
  5. Insert the Body content - text, pictures, and embedded media - through the WYSIWYG. Use the built-in toolbar to customize this content.
  6. Choose whether you'd like to Publish the page (make it visible to the public). The Publish to all sites option will copy your page to all sites that are children of your current site.
  7. Click the “Add” button at the bottom of the page.

This will bring you back to the list of existing Pages, and you can click on the title of the new Page to see it on your website.

Modifying a Page

To modify an existing page on your website, follow the below steps:

  1. Open the Content section from the main administrative menu.
  2. Click the Pages link at the top of the page.
  3. Find the Page that you want to modify, and click the “Action” button to its right.
  4. Choose the "Edit" option.
  5. Update your content.
  6. Click the “Update” button at the bottom of the page.

This will bring you back to the list of existing webpages, and you can click on the title of your Page to see it on your website.

Next we'll be talking about Protected Pages and how they differ from regular Pages.
